Christian Education News November 2004

 Melissa, Barbara, Ina, Heidi, Lou and Jill were present.  Six children and one adult are in the confirmation class.  The first three lessons are “The Bible, God and Jesus.”  The current children have been with the church for years and are aware of our Sunday School Curriculum.  They do not meet the last Sunday of the month because of Youth Group. 

On September 26^th, thirteen youth met for an organizational meeting of this year’s Youth Group.  They plan for an Old Fashioned Halloween party to be held on October 31^st. 

Alex Longacre was elected president of the group, while Seth Harper was vice president and Jackie Longacre, secretary.

          $139 has been sent to a uniform shop for the Box Family.  Slips will be published for sizes for Christmas gifts. 

          Sunday School is going well.  Samm is helping Melissa with the play for Christmas.  Christmas religious ornaments have been ordered.

The tree will be set up after December 12^th.  The next Council meeting is October 27^th.  Heritage Sunday is November 28^th.  Our next meeting is November 10^th at Ina’s.
