The Deacons cooperate with the pastor in ministering to the spiritual needs of the church and community.  They participate in the preparation and administering of the sacraments, in caring for the poor, the sick, the sorrowing, the indifferent and the stranger.

   The Deacons receive applicants for church membership on confession of faith, after examination of the applicant and shall recommend to the church those deemed prepared for membership.  The Deacons make an annual survey of the church roll and submit at the church meeting recommendations regarding necessary revisions.
