DEACONS’ REPORT – NOVEMBER STEEPLE

My God, I thank thee, who hast made

The earth so bright.

   As you will note on the calendar, we are looking forward to Thanksgiving Month.

      Donations for Thanksgiving Food Baskets will be held November 14^th and November 21^st. Non-perishable food items for these baskets to accompany a turkey are appreciated. Please bring to church where the Deacons will arrange. All baskets are delivered from the Town Office to Griswold families.

    On November 21^st the worship service will be led by the Deacons. Anyone wishing to may take part. Please let Rev. Lou or a Deacon know right away.

     Heritage Sunday to celebrate the history of our church will be held on November 28^th during worship. The Committee has designated this as an annual celebration leading up to our 300^th anniversary in 2020. The committee formed by the Deacons includes Larry Beam, Chairman; Barbara Seagraves, Tammi Veit, Priscilla Stetson, Sandi Baton and Ed and Mona Ames.
