First Congregational Church of Griswold

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rev. Dr. Edythe Steele (Ede) and I am the pastor of First Congregational Church. I believe church should be a place of passionate worship, caring fellowship and spiritual growth.

 

Let me tell you a little more about myself. I was born in Houston, Texas. I have lived in many places and came to Connecticut from Hawaii. My husband is Terry Steele. Together we have five children and four grandchildren.

 

When asked the question, "Why in the world would you leave Hawaii for Connecticut?" The answer is GRANDCHILDREN. It is beautiful in Hawaii, but being closer to family is what brings Terry and I to Connecticut.

 

My church family is just as important. I would love for you to visit us.
