First Congregational Church of Griswold

There is a principal belief at First church, and these words are spoken each Sunday morning. “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here at First Church”. The members of First Church really take that statement to heart. Where else can you walk in the door and immediately be treated like family? They are welcoming, friendly, talented, grounded, sincere, loving, and great cooks too.

I believe all people have received a diverse set of gifts from God. First Church provides a place where those gifts can be used to serve others. I find helping in the life of the church satisfying, and it has added real purpose to my life.
